With mini Shetland ponies, it is usually love at first sight. They are extremely gentle, good-natured and very intelligent. At the same time they are also a little bit cheeky and like to get their will. But that is exactly what makes the Mini Shetty so adorable. Although they are very small, they are extremely strong and can carry or pull heavy. It used to be used as a pit pony in mines once. Today, they are especially ideal for children or for pulling carriages.
